Clinical leadership and engagement
We work in General Practice, Hospitals and Primary Care Trusts. We have worked extensively with health professionals in leadership roles for more than 20 years. We have designed and directed a great variety of successful clinical leadership programmes, both single and multi-disciplinary, and provided tailored coaching to many clinical leaders. Programmes can support individuals, teams and partnerships.
We have a particular expertise and interest in work involving medical leaders. We work with Medical Directors, Clinical Directors, Directors of Public Health, Senior Partners in General Practice, PEC Chairs, PBC Leaders and others.
Most of our programmes have an organisational base: Hospital, General Practice, PCT or SHA, some are nationally advertised, such as ‘Dealing with Difficult Colleagues’ for the British Association of Medical Managers (BAMM).
How it works
|
We tailor programmes to the context, needs and wanted outcomes of both the commissioning organisation and the participants. Good design requires judgement of time commitment, participant need and interest, content and application support. Our programmes:Apply learning to the practical challenges people are facing day-to-day in work Offer parallel topic sessions, so people can tailor the programme to their own needs Offer robust theory alongside experiential learning Offer focused feedback and support to really help people improve their approach |
We expect people to exit our programmes with much-improved confidence as leaders, understanding themselves and their circumstances better, feeling that they have spent productive time getting to grips with the role and leaving with practical things they intend to do.
